Once someone pays you on paypal can they take the money back?

No, once someone pays you on paypal, they cannot take back the money, but if you are offering a service as a seller and receiving the money through paypal with a business account, you will have the option to issue a refund to the buyer

And also if a your buyer is not satisfied with your services, they can also get back the money back from you, but if you are using a personal account, there’s no way for someone to take back the money they have sent you.

Can someone take money from my paypal?

Someone can take money from your paypal account only if they have access to your paypal account or your email address, and those things can be taken from you if you don’t use your paypal securely,

Hackers can use email spamming, phishing websites and some few other ways to acquire your password, and once they have access to your paypal account, they can send out money from your paypal account or make transactions with your paypal without your notice. Read more about this here

Is paypal safe for me to use?

Generally Paypal is a safe payment method for you whether you are buying or selling on the internet

because it has what they call buyers and sellers protection, and with these protections one can easily refund money back to the sender when something goes wrong,

for example, if you are a seller and someone buys something from you, if the buyer is not satisfied with the service you offered all the products you sold the person can request for a refund and you can easily do it,

and the best part of this is, all the costs and the charges that Paypal took during this transaction will also be refunded, so in this case PayPal is a safe payment method for you that is if you are buying and selling, or doing transaction on the internet.

however, as a PayPal user you are to be very careful with your login details, because once someone have access to your PayPal email address and password the person can manipulate your account and use it to order for goods on the internet or use it to transfer money from your account to other account(s)

and when this sort of things occur it is very difficult for Paypal to resolve because the problem is from your end, that is why as you are using the service you should take it seriously because it is financial service.

Can you get money back from paypal friends and family?

Paypal offer refunds but it does not offer refunds when you are using the friends and family option, so if you are doing a transaction and you think the transaction may end up wrongly

then you should not send the money as friends and family, you should make the payment as you are buying something from the person you are sending the money to.

I have also had a bad experience sending money to someone using the buying option when I sent the money PayPal kept the money on hold for a very long time and when I tried to order for refund at that time my account was disabled so that was how I lost the money.

But when you make transaction using the friend and family option the money will not be kept on hold because you have made people to know that you are sending the money to a trusted person so if you don't want to experience anything like your money kept on hold then using the friend and family option would be the best.

How to keep your paypal account safe from hackers

Just in case you don't know, your PayPal account can be hacked by hackers, so in order to keep your PayPal account safe and secured from this hackers, there are some certain things that you must pay attention to and you must also do these things effectively in order to keep your PayPal safe from hackers

and below I'm going to share with you some of the tips that I have been using to keep my PayPal safe and away from hackers.

If you do these things you can put money in your PayPal account and be rest assured that the money will remain there and won't be hijacked by hackers on the internet so read the tips I am about to share with you below.

Don't share your PayPal email with strange people

Always share your PayPal email with trusted people, these can be a friend or a trusted client that you have worked for and expecting to be paid anybody aside this people you should not share your PayPal email with them in my case I always use a separate email for my PayPal account so that it will be hard for people to guess the email that I am using,

the reason you should keep your PayPal email address private is because hackers can easily send spammy links into your email and when you click on those spammy links, day can have your login details.

Don't click on spammy links

The spamming links I talk about in type 1 is the exact spamming link I am talking about right now when you see a random email or a link that you don't know anything about it is advisable that you don't click on those links.

Always visit the correct Paypal website

People can clone PayPal website and use it to get your login informations so whenever you are logging into the PayPal website make sure you are on the right website make sure the URL is correct if you see a random URL or a URL without https protocol then that website is not of Paypal

Don't log into your Paypal account in a public computer

most people make mistakes by logging into their PayPal account on a public computer, this is not safe.

if you are using a public computer to log into your PayPal then I will advise you to stop from today.

Use strong password

Most hackers will try to guess your password, and if your password is vulnerable then they may guess it right and then log into your PayPal account and have access to it.

so when creating your PayPal account make sure you use strong password; in my case, use a password that contains uppercase and lowercase letters numbers and special characters,

make the password long and write it down somewhere private so that whenever you forget your password you can easily recover it by going to the place you kept the saved password.

conclusion
